| Description: |
The Space Farms Zoo & Museum originated in 1927 when Ralph and Elizabeth Space bought their first ¼ acre of land, which now expands to more than 400 acres. It was first a small animal shelter, and now it has grown to become New Jersey’s largest combined zoo and museum. It is located in the beautiful area of Sussex, NJ, where the mountains are high, the fields are wide open and the wildflowers breathe deeply. The Zoo has over 500 live wild animals of more than 100 species, including bobcats, tigers and lions, buffalo, bears and deer, jaguars and coyotes, llamas, snakes and so much more! |
