We thought it was time to give back to the areas that we use the most. For me and a bunch of us here in TR, it’s Cattus Island. We’ve been in contact with the Naturalist’s there and scheduled a Salt Marsh Clean-Up. They’ve designated an area of the marsh as ours, and now it’s our job to clean it up!

This project is for KIDS!  So, if you have a kid that would be interested in this, please join us on August 17th, 2010 at 9AM at Cattus Island. We’ll be cleaning up the marsh until noonish. Dress for a mess, wear sunblock and bug spray. We’re going to the playground afterwards for some playtime and a picnic lunch. (BYO)
