I have personally tested a few of the games – specifically the dinner games. They actually do make dinner time in our house last longer and our three year old was very excited to get to the next card. She really loved it. And, our one year old just mimicked her sister when it was her “turn.” We had a great time with it.
I also played (today!) a First Game with my three + year old. Although it was for ages two and up, she still felt challenged as we were able to add things to it to make it tougher. And, as I was playing it I realized I could hear the birds outside…why does that matter…there were no bells, whistles, loud sirens, etc. incorporated. It was so nice to actually discuss the rules of the game and talk to each other without the wild distractions of many of the other games today. These games really hit home and make kids think – I love them!
