Jardine Announces Second Expansion of Crib Recall
Drop-Side Natural Olympia Single, Drop-Side Dark Pine Olympia Single, White Olympia Lifetime, Black Olympia Lifetime, Drop-Side White Capri Single, Antique Walnut Capri 4 in 1 and Americana Pecan 4 in 1.
ENTRAPMENT AND STRANGULATION HAZARD
Wooden crib slats can break, creating a gap, which can pose an entrapment and strangulation hazard to infants and toddlers.
Consumers should IMMEDIATELY STOP using the recalled cribs and contact Jardine to arrange to receive a full credit toward the purchase of a new crib. Jardine will provide detailed instructions for purchasing cribs in retail stores and online.
Jardine previously recalled the following cribs in June 2008 and January 2009.

The previously recalled cribs were sold nationwide from January 2002 through January 2009.

I just returned the parts to the crib I bought yesterday per this recall, so hopefully I’ll get my voucher tomorrow. The only issue is, if you don’t have a back-up crib, you’re out of luck until you get your new one!
Got my voucher via email on the third day. Went out that night and of course BRU had no cribs in stock. Went to TRU and bought their only crib in stock. Had to wait there for over an hour because they didn’t know how to input the voucher…but besides that the process with Jardine was totally fine. And we only had 3 days w/o a crib for the baby. Not too bad.
