Papa 5k Run/1 Mile Family Walk

Laura Papa is a resident of Toms River. She is a wife to Vinny, and a mother of 3. Laura has been battling 2 kinds of thyroid cancer as well as an Aneurysm Disease since September 2007. Laura has had 3 surgeries and 2 doses of radiation since October 2007.
Unfortunately during this time her husband Vinny has been unemployed since November 2008. During this stressful time with Laura being sick and her husband losing his job they are now facing the court on whether or not they are going to loose there house, because they can not pay there bills or mortgage.
Laura has been coming to D’Jais Salon and Spa since 2006. She has a “Loving” Husband who will find any way he can for her to get something done here. He wants her to feel good about herself and he insists that she takes care of herself.
Laura is the most positive, loving, caring, beautiful person you can ever meet. She looks at life like there are other people suffering more than she is. You will never hear her complain once.
D’Jais Salon and Spa took it upon ourselves to sponsor a 5k Run/Walk for Laura to help her family during this time. We ask that you would kindly help her out by donating any money that is affordable to you. I would appreciate it if you would help our friend in need.
